BUNSICHARI PROJECT

Diploma Program in Tools for strengthening community reconciliation and reconstruction

Project carried out thanks to the support of the Netherlands Embassy and Bolívar Davivienda Foundation.

The pilot model based on restorative practices and mind-body strategies is a pioneer in the world as the innovative adaptation of such technologies for the trust recovery, stigmatization reduction and the construction of collective effectiveness in the municipalities hard hit by armed conflict. Thanks to the job of allied institutions such as the UN Verification Mission in Colombia and the ARN, representatives of four of the key sectors came together in the same group to carry out reconciliation into a successful conclusion in the mid and long term, namely: the institutional framework (through the Mayor's Office), the victims, the reincorporation process people and the public force. The participants made the practical application of the tools acquired in three productive projects that involve victims and reincorporated: an eco-trail, a plant nursery, and a community garden. The pilot was carried out in Viotá, Cundinamarca, one of the municipalities with the greatest influence of the extinct FARC-EP during the conflict.
